Unikon Landing Page
Role
UX Writer & Content Strategist
Project type
Landing Page
Project Overview:
Tasked with reworking Unikon’s landing experience to reflect its evolved dual offering—Work and Life—and position it as a bold, credible, and user-friendly platform for modern self-improvement.
The Process
Discovery:
The original landing page was built in Unikon’s early MVP stage—information-heavy, but lacking engagement. As the product matured, so did its story and capabilities. The brief? Build a modular, high-converting experience that clearly distinguished Work and Life offerings.
Strategic Structuring:
- Split the core offering into two dynamic sections—each with its own dedicated page.
- Emphasised product categories, key benefits, and relevant expert services through scannable microcopy.
- Introduced feature highlights, user stats, and real testimonials to build credibility.
- Added two SEO-forward utility pages: About Us and Contact Us, layered with FAQs and clear CTAs.
Design Collaboration:
Although content followed the design, I provided early input on flow, layout, and structure—ensuring space and hierarchy supported concise, impactful copy.
Key Challenges
- Balancing clarity and appeal while communicating a multifaceted product.
- Prioritising what features to spotlight without overwhelming users.
- Making sure the Work vs. Life divide felt intuitive, not disjointed.
How I Solved It:
- Used value-first messaging: less "what Unikon is," more "how it helps you."
- Wrote conversational yet confident copy that echoed the brand’s tone of credibility with warmth.
- Proposed copy-friendly layout tweaks to help with scannability and conversion.
Results & Learnings:
While the full analytics weren't tracked due to shifting priorities, the new landing structure became the foundation for future marketing and product storytelling.
Key Takeaways:
- Strong UX writing isn’t just about words—it’s about understanding product evolution and translating it into utility for the user.
- Collaboration with design early on ensures that content doesn’t just fit—it shines.
- Even utility pages like ‘About’ and ‘Contact’ can sell a product when written with intent.
